A Retro styled yet Tactical Turnbased RPG using...

As I spend my free time working on brushing off my old 3d modelling skills and running tutorial after tutorial of modern day game dev techniques a Life-Long dream begins to grow ever more within reach! Thanks to the power of Epic’s Unreal Engine I’ve managed to amass the potential of releasing my very own Indie game!

The Game

They woke up in a changed world. Freak Lightning storms brought Hysteria, Mass Seizures and Wildfires. Those who survived, they were just… different.
Now a small group of friends must try to navigate a familiar yet hostile landscape as their world descends into darkness.

The RPG will take the players through an expanded and interactive adaptation of My WTF storyline!

Features

Turn Based ATB Combat

Turn based action with a Live action twist. Challenge your command skills by learning to anticipate your allies and enemies timing on the battlefield.

Knife Edge Mechanics

WTF:Rpg uses a low number system for its in game mechanics. This means EVERY +1 you get for a stat makes a difference.

Multi Character Story-lines

5 main character's story-lines and many more overlap as the game progresses. Unlock new events as the stories intertwine.

Beligerant Political Centrism

Like political agendas tainting your fun? Seems like you can't avoid it these days... but at least you can laugh at it a little. Join us as we attack everyone's misguided and manipulative bullshit.

Brutally Unforgiving Gameplay

No trophies just for logging in! The characters in WTF will be struggling for every scrap they get. The journey will be long and you'll need to use every asset at your command to prevent losing it all.

Lack of Features: Old School Style

There will be no Mini maps, No quest blips, No fast travel, You'll need to figure out the hints NPCs give you.. and then some NPCs will outright lie to you anyway.

Base Building With a Twist

Build a base for your survivors, there Idle character will keep themselves occupied either training new skills, Sharing theirs with others, crafting items, researching tech or perhaps simply guarding the walls.

Non Linear Character Progression

Pick your path training system allows, a myriad of options for your characters to cross train. Round out a healer with combat skills. Augment a combat character with tactical abilities. Build your survivors your way.

Hero & Specialist System

Story Line characters offer a well rounded set of skills. But you can recruit and train up Multiple Specialists who are very good at their specific Niche role.

Dark Cartoonish Style

Dark comic style Lets you live directly in the WTF concept art, buit with particles, volume lighting and all sorts of pretty cameraworl. Thanks to UE4 You can experience WTF:rpg in all its grim glory.

Stealth & Scouting System

StoryMode and DesperationMode Difficulties!

Story mode will play like any other classical rpg mode & should be challenging enough for most casual gamers... But what if you wanted more? Enter Desperation Mode simulate the horror of survival with no HP bars, Limited UIs... Oh and Permadeath. That's right, judge character status solely from cues like their visual wounds and posture! Desperation Mode should provide you with one of the most Harrowing RPG experiences ever.

Goals
